Julian has been working in estate agency since the age of 15.

He specialises in listed and period buildings, land and property development and the mixed use or residential investment markets. He is also a portfolio landlord and runs his own property development company. He has a broad knowledge of the local market and is able to advise on anything related to residential property.

HOW DID YOU GET IN TO AGENCY? It was already a bit of a family business early on in my life, my father was running a successful agency in Luton.

I decided that I wanted to get in to agency myself, so I went to the local job centre, found an advert for a trainee estate agent position, ripped the page out of the book (very naughty) and got on the next bus to introduce myself and explain that they are unlikely to receive any applicants better than me, on the basis their job advert not longer existed! To my amazement, it worked.
